MayShe ("we", "us", or "our") operates the MayShe mobile application (the "App") and is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect your personal and non-personal information when you access or use our App. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect and Permissions

We collect information and request specific device permissions to provide the App's core features:

2.1 Personal Information

We may collect the following personal data:

• Account Data: Email address, username, password, and profile details (nickname, avatar, etc.) when you register.
• User Generated Content (UGC): Content you create, such as community posts, comments, photos, and chat messages sent to other users.
• Contact Info: If you contact support, we collect your communication history.

2.2 Bluetooth & Device Information

To connect and control external hardware devices (e.g., smart toys), we collect:

• Bluetooth Data: Information necessary to scan for and connect to Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices.
• Device Info: Device model, OS version, and unique identifiers (UUID) to ensure compatibility.

2.3 Microphone Usage (Decibel Control)

To provide the "Decibel Control" feature (controlling device vibration via ambient sound), we require access to your device's microphone.

Important: The audio data is processed locally on your device in real-time to calculate volume levels. We do not record, save, or upload any audio data to our servers.

2.4 Camera and Photo Library

To allow you to set a profile picture, post in the community, or send images in chats, we require permission to access your device's Camera and Photo Library. We only upload and store the specific images you choose to share.

2.5 Location Information

• For Android Users: The Android system requires apps to have Location Permissions to scan for BLE devices. We request this solely for Bluetooth connectivity. We do not track, store, or share your GPS location history.
• For iOS Users: We generally do not request GPS location unless you use specific location-based features.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide Core Features: Establish Bluetooth connections, enable voice-control features, and facilitate chat/community interactions.
• Service Improvement: Troubleshoot errors and analyze usage trends.
• Communication: Respond to your inquiries and send service updates.
• Safety & Compliance: Detect fraud, prevent abuse, and enforce our User Agreement.

4. Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

4.1 Third-Party Service Providers

We engage trusted third-party providers to assist in operating the App. These partners are strictly prohibited from using your data for other purposes:

• Cloud Storage & Computing: We use services like AWS (Amazon Web Services) to securely store user data and content.
• Communication Services: We may use third-party SDKs (e.g., Tencent Cloud/IM) to facilitate real-time chat functionality.

4.2 Legal Obligations

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.

5. Your Rights and Choices

• Access & Correction: You can update your profile info in the App settings.
• Data Deletion: You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data directly within the App settings (under "Account Security" or similar).
• Permission Management: You can revoke permissions (Bluetooth, Microphone, Camera, Notification) at any time via your system settings, though this may limit App functionality.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and administrative security measures to protect your information. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary. Upon your request to delete your account, your data will be erased from our active servers within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Age Restriction

The App is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If discovered, such data will be deleted immediately.
